Food Donors

Through the generous support of local businesses, community food drives and individuals, we are able to provide food to families in need throughout our service area. We also distribute USDA Commodities and foods through the State Nutrition Assistance Program.

Food Drives

An important resource of food for Feeding the Valley is provided by community food drives.

The following are some tips for conducting a food drive:
· Publicize your event with flyers and posters
· Set a poundage goal; we will weigh the food you collect and give you totals as we receive the filled barrels
· Ask for non-perishable food items
· Have a competition among departments, divisions, classes, etc.

Feeding the Valley always needs:
Canned meats
Canned fruits and vegetables
Cereals
Peanut Butter and Jelly
Soups

We will deliver a collection barrel for your food drive and provide pick-up of the barrel when it is filled.

If you would like to deliver directly to the Feeding the Valley warehouse, our receiving hours are Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM. We are located at 5928 Coca Cola Boulevard in Columbus.
